GREENPEAK Management GmbH has received authorization as a fully regulated capital management company (KVG) from BaFin

Munich, 13.03.2026. We are pleased to announce that GREENPEAK Management GmbH has received full authorization as a fully regulated capital management company (KVG) from BaFin, Germany’s Federal Financial Supervisory Authority.

This authorization represents a significant milestone and confirms our institutional-grade setup, robust governance, and long-term commitment to regulatory excellence. The approval followed a comprehensive review of our organizational structure, senior management, risk management framework, compliance systems, and financial resources.

As a fully regulated KVG, GREENPEAK Management GmbH is now authorized to:

• Manage Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) without a limitation on assets under management
• Distribute and manage funds across the EEA under the EU passport regime
• Manage funds of unlimited size and across complex asset classes, including private equity, as well as certain other equities, loans, derivatives, AIFs, and additional investment strategies
• Ensure the continuity of our fund management activities beyond the €500m AUM threshold
• Provide advisory services, investment brokerage, and discretionary portfolio management relating to AIFs for third parties

The full BaFin authorization also entails enhanced regulatory requirements, including minimum capital requirements, an independent risk management function, comprehensive compliance oversight, and extensive reporting obligations — all of which further strengthen investor protection, transparency, and trust.
